Privacy.

This site is my portfolio. It shows no advertising and does not follow you from one site to another. Here is exactly what it measures, and why.

Visit statistics

Visits are counted with Umami, an open-source tool that I host myself: pages viewed, the site you came from (LinkedIn, Google…), your country, and your type of device and browser. Umami sets no cookie and does not store your IP address; I only look at totals, to know whether the portfolio is read. If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, your visit is not counted.

CV downloads

When the CV is opened, the date, the link used (a reference such as “?ref=company” when I sent you a personal link), the site you came from and your browser are recorded. Your IP address is not stored. This tells me whether an application was read. These records are deleted after 365 days.

Cookies and preferences

A single cookie, django_language, remembers the language you chose, for one year. Your theme choice (dark or light) stays in your browser and is never sent to the server. No cookie is used to measure the audience.

Third-party resources

The fonts come from Google Fonts and the badge images from Credly: like any web server, these services receive your IP address when your browser loads them.

Your data

Nothing is sold or shared, and everything is stored on my own server. To access or delete what concerns you, or for any question, write to maurel.kouassi@epitech.eu. You can also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr).
